Because of the I AM, I am here to encourage women to experience the full love of God through self-love and self-acceptance so they can be healed and whole in Him. I teach, coach, and provide support to women in their wholeness journey so that they are fit to fulfill their divine purpose and advance the Kingdom of God.
I have paired my personal experience with my love for helping people and have been teaching group fitness classes for over a decade. In my profession I'm a highly respected lifestyle and fitness coaching professional. Completed several certifications, most notably, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Specialist, and Behavior Change Specialist.
I'm a Certified Wellness Coach who believes in a holistic approach that addresses spirit, soul and body to achieve lasting weight loss and mental and physical well-being.
In addition, I'm an author and speaker who uses her weight loss journey and her life’s journey to inspire others.
My Weight Loss Story
Yep, that’s me over 20 years ago at age 25 and me now!
I am no stranger to the effort it takes to lose weight.
Having tipped the scales at over 250 pounds, I have lost over 100 pounds and have managed to keep it off.
I am also no stranger to the struggles of yo-yo dieting and being overwhelmed by what feels like conflicting information. Low carb, high fat, balanced meals, eat 6X a day, snack, don’t snack, etc. Weight loss programs, soup diets – you name it, I’ve tried it.
What does that mean for you? I have made a lot of mistakes and learned a lot, too and I am sharing my knowledge with you. I am here to encourage you and give you the tools you need to succeed.
So much has happened besides the obvious weight loss over the past 20 years. It continues to be a journey of self-discovery. It is through my personal struggle with weight, both physically and emotionally that I discovered my passion for fitness and the necessity for God in all things.
